Kovid-19 India: Number of infected beyond thousand, 11 deaths; Status in Maharashtra-Kerala worrying

The first death from Kovid-19 has been reported in Kalyan-Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC) of Thane district. A woman has died during treatment. Maharashtra has currently become the state with the most Kovid deaths in the country. The number of patients in the country has reached 1,047. A total of five people have died in Maharashtra so far.

Maximum 430 active cases have been registered in Kerala. 208 patients have appeared in Maharashtra, 104 in Delhi and 83 in Gujarat. Of the 80 patients in Karnataka, only 73 are in Bengaluru. A total of 11 patients have died in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. Nine of these people have died in a week.

In many states of India, four new variants have been detected in the country amid increasing cases of Kovid-19. ICMR Director Dr. Rajiv Bahl said that the varieties sorted in South and West India are from LF7, XFG, JN.1 and NB.1.8.1 series. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 787 new cases have been registered in the last one week. Dr. Rajiv Bahl, director of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), said that so far 4 types of Corona have been found in the country. These include viruses LF.7, XFG, JN.1 and NB.1.8.1.

Two Corona patients died on Monday in Jaipur. One of them was found dead at the railway station. His corona report has come positive. The second death occurred of a 26 -year -old man who was admitted to a private hospital. He was already suffering from tuberculosis. The 84 -year -old elder died on 17 May in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Health Department had said that the elderly person died due to failure of several organs. Two people have died due to Kovid in Kerala.

This is being seen in Kovid’s increasing cases in China and other Asian countries. NB.1.8.1 spike protein mutations such as A435S, V445H, and T478i spread faster than other variants. Even his immunity developed against Kovid is not affecting him. Kovid’s JN.1 variant is the most common in India. This type has been found in more than half of the tested samples. Subsequently, cases of BA.2 (26 percent) and Omikron Sabalines (20 percent) variants have also been found.
