Wave City police station arrested two vicious accused of Kundal robbery during an encounter and recovered the looted Kundal, illegal weapons and the bike used in the incident from their possession.

Kundal snatched from elderly woman in broad daylight

The incident took place on the morning of 25th April when Munni Devi, a resident of Ikala, was near her house. Then three youths riding a bike came there and one of them pounced and pulled the earring from Munni Devi’s ear. Before anyone could understand anything, the three accused fled on the bike. As soon as information about the incident was received, Wave City police station registered a case and started searching for the accused.

Name revealed in investigation, raid started

Without wasting any time, the police identified three suspects through CCTV footage, information from informers and technical surveillance. Investigation revealed that the names of three youths who committed this crime are Ankit Jatav, Deepak Nagar and Sachin Nagar. The police started rapid raids in the area in search of the three.

Encounter in the dark of night, both shot in the leg

On Monday night, when the police team was checking the area, Deepak Nagar and Sachin Nagar were seen. As soon as they saw the police, both of them tried to run away and started firing from their illegal pistols. In retaliation, the police also fired, in which both the accused were shot in the legs and they fell on the spot. The police immediately controlled both of them and arrested them. The third accused Ankit Jatav is still absconding and the police is busy searching for him.

Secret revealed during interrogation, this item recovered

During interrogation after the arrest, Deepak Nagar and Sachin Nagar admitted that they along with Ankit Jatav had snatched the ring from Munni Devi. The police recovered the looted Kundal, an R15 bike, two illegal pistols, three empty shells and two live cartridges from the possession of both of them.

ACP gave information

ACP Wave City Priyashree Pal said that both the accused were arrested during the encounter and have been admitted to the hospital. He said that several police teams are active to arrest the absconding third accused Ankit Jatav and he will also be arrested soon.
