New Delhi. If you live in Uttar Pradesh and are planning to visit Vaishno Devi in summer, but are not able to find reverse in trains, then there is no need to worry. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a cheap package for Vaishno Devi, in which the entire journey will be in AC. This train will run stopping from many cities of Uttar Pradesh.
IRCTC's four nights and five days Mata Vaishno Devi tour is an affordable package. This includes travel by AC class, breakfast en route, lunch, dinner, local transport and hotel stay. Under this package, the train will depart every Thursday.
The train will leave for Banaras at 12.40 pm. It will reach Jaunpur at 1.36 pm, Sultanpur at 2.50 pm, Lucknow at 5.35 pm and Shahjahanpur at 8.25 pm. People living in or around these cities can board these stations. It will reach Jammu at 10.50 am the next day.
Will reach Katra from Jammu by AC buses. Stay at a hotel there and tour Katra and its surroundings on the day. On the third day, after breakfast in the morning, we will climb the hill for darshan of Vaishno Devi and after darshan we will return to the hotel at night. Dinner will be here tonight. On the fourth day, after breakfast, we will leave for Jammu. From here we will catch the return train at 2 pm and return home on the fifth day.
This is affordable fare
Under the package, the fare for three people sharing a room in a hotel room is Rs 8650. This fare is on an average Rs 1730 per day. If two people want to share a room then you will have to pay Rs 9810 and to stay in a single room you will have to pay Rs 15320.
