The high-profile case of death of Noida resident Twisha Sharma under suspicious circumstances has become a topic of discussion across the country these days. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken a huge action in this entire matter. After arresting both the main accused in this case, Samarth Singh and his mother (former judge Giribala Singh), the investigating agency has sent them to jail in judicial custody on the orders of the court.
As soon as the jail warrant was issued from the court, the CBI team took both the accused in separate vehicles under tight security and reached Gandhinagar Central Jail at exactly 3:39 pm. But whatever happened after this at the main door of the jail surprised everyone present there.
“I will go inside only after sitting in the car…” Former judge got angry at the jail gate
As soon as the CBI vehicles stopped at the main gate of Gandhinagar Central Jail, the atmosphere there changed completely. According to jail rules, the security personnel asked former judge Giribala Singh to get down from the car and go inside on foot. But seeing the cameras of media persons and the huge crowd outside, the anger of the former judge reached the seventh sky.
High-voltage drama at the prison door
Former judge Giribala Singh clearly refused to follow the rules and was not ready to get down from the car. When the media persons came near the car window and started taking her photographs, she started removing them by gesturing with the water bottle held in her hand. He put direct pressure on the CBI officers present there to allow his vehicle to go inside the gate. However, the jail administration apparently refused to do so citing rules. After much debate, the car was finally backed up and parked directly adjacent to the main door, after which she got down and went straight to the Jail Superintendent’s cabin. Right behind him, his accused son Samarth also entered inside.
Loss of influence in jail: Different ward and prisoner numbers found
As soon as they entered the jail, the influence of both the accused was completely lost and they were treated like ordinary prisoners. After completion of the formalities of jail admission, both have been shifted to different barracks.
During this entire VIP movement, external and political pressure was clearly felt on the jail management. According to reports, during this period the Jail Superintendent received about seven VIP calls, but he did not answer any of the calls. After this, messages were also left on the mobile numbers of the officers, due to which the officers maintained complete distance. Even Deputy Jail Superintendent Manganu Singh Maravi completely switched off his mobile to avoid media questions and calls.
Seizure of ‘Stridhan’ and CBI investigation intensified
CBI is now investigating every financial and family aspect to solve the mystery of the mysterious death of Tvisha Sharma, which took place on May 12. Taking the investigation forward, the agency has taken another major step:
-
Jewelry Appraisal: CBI has taken possession of all the gold gifts (Stridhan) that Twisha received from her maternal and in-laws’ house at the time of her marriage. A professional jeweler has also been summoned to accurately assess the purity, weight and current market price of these jewellery.
-
Strong evidence of dowry harassment: The investigation team will include this seizure and the jeweler’s valuation report in the case diary as Dowry Harassment and financial evidence, so that the case can be further strengthened in the court.
-
Statement recorded: Along with this, CBI has also recorded detailed statements of close relatives and the cook of the house present inside the house at the time of the incident, so that the links of that day can be linked together.
