India’s ‘disastrous’ reply to China-Pak on CPEC 2.0; MEA said- There is no border between the two countries, Kashmir was ours and will remain so!

China and Pakistan have recently issued a joint statement on the historic occasion of the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic friendship. In this statement, both the countries have boasted of taking their strategic partnership to the ‘next level’. The most controversial thing is that in this manifesto the advanced and upgraded version of ‘China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’ ($CPEC$) i.e. CPEC 2.0 But a resolve to work together has been expressed.

Since this so-called economic corridor passes through the sovereign territory of India (Pak Occupied Kashmir – PoK), which is illegally and forcibly occupied by Pakistan, the Indian government has taken a very strict stance on it. Like always, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has responded bluntly to Beijing and Islamabad this time too, rejecting all their unfair and illegal claims.

Entire Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh are an integral part of India: Randhir Jaiswal

Reminding the Chinese and Pakistani rulers of their status, the official spokesperson of the Indian External Affairs Ministry, Randhir Jaiswal, clearly stated in a media briefing:

“The joint statement by India, China and Pakistan completely rejects any inappropriate and unwarranted references to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. India’s national stand on this issue is very well known to both parties concerned. The entire Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have been, are and will always be an integral and inseparable part of India. No third country in the world has any moral or legal right to comment or make statements on the internal affairs of India.”

Expressing strong opposition to the CPEC projects, the spokesperson further said that India strongly opposes projects which violate India’s territorial sovereignty. India strongly rejects any nefarious attempt by other countries to legitimize or strengthen Pakistan’s illegal and forcible occupation of the region. This has been clearly explained to Chinese and Pakistani officials many times at the diplomatic level.

“Improve the geography…” There is no common border between China and Pakistan!

In this joint statement, the Indian Foreign Ministry also exposed a very ridiculous fact to the world, both technically and geographically. Randhir Jaiswal sarcastically said, “We have also seen the mention of ‘trans-boundary water resources cooperation’ between China and Pakistan in this joint statement. We want to make it clear that these two countries do not share any natural border, hence the question of trans-boundary water cooperation does not arise. India has never recognized the illegal ‘boundary agreement’ signed between Pakistan and China in 1963. Has given and will never give.”

Pakistan’s historical ignorance: It has been running away from the truth for 79 years

In the last 79 years, India has explained the reality of Kashmir to Pakistan hundreds of times, from international forums to bilateral talks, but the Pakistani rulers turn a blind eye to this truth every time. Let us see some big examples of recent years:

  • Year 2019 (Abolition of Article 370): On August 5, 2019, when the Government of India took a historic step and abolished the special status given to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution and converted it into two new Union Territories (Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh), India showed the strength of its sovereignty to the whole world. Even then Pakistan kept crying like an idiot.

  • Year 2022 (befitting reply in UNHRC): India had given a befitting reply to Pakistan in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who was then leading the Indian delegation, thundered on the global stage that despite persistent terrorist threats from across the border, there has been unprecedented improvement in the security situation and development in Jammu and Kashmir since August 2019.

  • Years 2023 and 2025 (Operation Vermillion): Even in the year 2023, the Foreign Ministry had warned Pakistan. Last year in 2025, during ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Indian Army, breaking the back of Pakistan sponsored terrorism, had made it clear that if you disturb the peace of Kashmir, you will not go back unscathed.
