Ranchi, 01 October (HS). In view of Durga Puja, the police headquarters has sought reports from all the SPs of the state. According to the information received from the headquarters on Tuesday, to ensure that no law and order problem arises in Jharkhand during Durga Puja, Jharkhand Police Headquarters has sought a report from the SP of the district on many important points including forced collection of donations.

Report sought on these points

-Details related to where worship and cultural programs will be organized on the occasion of Durga Puja and how much crowd is likely to be there.

– Number of licensed and unlicensed puja pandals in the area.

– At which places forced collection of donations is made in the name of Dussehra and what are the measures to prevent it?

– On the occasion of Dussehra, which places already have sensitive puja pandals, where surveillance needs to be maintained.

– Whether there is a provision of fire extinguisher in case of fire in puja pandals or not.

– Details of the list of previous controversies and incidents on the occasion of Dussehra.

– Brief description of communal incidents that occurred on Dussehra in the last five years (2019-2023).

– List of those anti-social elements who have been involved and accused in riots and communal incidents in the past and can create communal tension and law and order problems by acting against the law or spreading rumours.

– Names and mobile numbers of the administrators of WhatsApp, Facebook and other social media groups which make comments that hurt the sentiments of any particular community, religion and caste and spread hatred and rumours.

– List of illegal animal smugglers and slaughter houses.

– List of illegal liquor traders.
