Here, after brutally assaulting a minor girl, she was brutally murdered. To hide their sin, the scoundrels threw the innocent body in a deserted well in the village. On Wednesday morning, when the villagers saw the dead body being lowered into the well, there was a sensation in the entire area. The family members are crying and in bad condition, while there is huge anger among the villagers after this incident. Police reached the spot and started investigation, but till now no clue of the accused has been found.
Innocent child was missing, family members were busy searching
According to the information, the deceased was missing from home since Tuesday evening. When she did not return till late night, the family members searched for her, but could not find her anywhere. In the morning his body was found in a well near a field outside the village. Looking at the condition of the dead body, it was clear that it had been brutally treated. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it to Medininagar for post-mortem. In the preliminary investigation, the police is considering it as a case of rape followed by murder, however, the situation will become completely clear only after the medical report comes.
Forensic team collected evidence, help of dog squad taken
Considering the seriousness of the incident, Palamu SP has formed a special team. The team of forensic experts and dog squad reached the incident site and collected important evidence. Police have found some suspicious marks near the well, from which it is being estimated that the murder was committed somewhere else and later the body was brought here and thrown. The police are detaining and interrogating some suspicious youths of the village. The SP has assured that the criminals will not be spared at any cost and will soon be sent behind the bars.
Questions raised on security arrangements, villagers protest
After this heart-wrenching incident, serious questions have started being raised regarding the safety of women and girls in the rural areas of Palamu. Angry villagers protested by blocking the road and demanded immediate arrest of the accused along with trial of the case in a fast track court and death sentence. Opposition parties have also cornered the state government on this issue. As a precautionary measure, the administration has deployed police force in the village so that the situation remains under control. At present, the entire Palamu is horrified by this heinous incident.
