News India Live, Digital Desk: Yamuna River: From the mountains to the plains, the entire North India is in the grip of heavy rains and floods at this time. The rain rains from the sky has disturbed the lives of the people. Rivers are in spate, roads are broken and many areas have been cut off from the rest of the world. The scene is such that you look, just water and destruction.

Nature’s havoc on the mountains

The situation remains the most worrying in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Many routes have been closed due to continuous rains and landslides (mountains moving), causing hundreds of people and vehicles to be trapped on the way. The Shri Amarnath Yatra has also to be temporarily stopped. Many essential roads including Jammu-Srinagar National Highway are closed due to landslides, causing the contact of the Kashmir Valley to be almost cut off from the rest of the country. The cloudburst on the mountains has further increased this devastation, causing many houses and shops to flow in the sudden floods.

Condition in the plains is also disturbed

If you feel that only mountains are upset, then it is not so. Rain and floods in plains like Delhi, Punjab and Haryana have also increased the troubles of the people. The Yamuna river in Delhi is flowing close to the danger mark, causing people living in low -lying areas to be transported to safe places. Roads are submerged in water, due to which people coming and going are facing huge problems. In many places, the problem of traffic jam has become huge.

Administration and rescue teams are continuously working, but the havoc of rain is so much that their efforts are also proving insufficient. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in the coming days, which means that people do not see this difficult relief. This rain has come as a disaster for many people, which has put a brake on their everyday life.
