In the latest episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ aired on Sunday, PM Modi talked in detail about the glory of Chhath Puja. He said that this is such a unique festival in which no pundit or priest is required. Everyone worships the rising and setting sun together.
Message of unity and equality
PM Modi emphasized that in Chhath Puja no one is big or small, rich or poor. People of every class and caste come together at the same ghat and offer Arghya to Lord Bhaskar. He said, “This is a wonderful message of equality. When everyone wears the same clothes and worships together, the sense of unity in the society becomes even deeper.”
