This step has been taken by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to strictly implement the ‘One Vehicle, One FASTag’ initiative. Its purpose is to further improve the toll collection system and prevent the use of multiple FASTags for the same vehicle.

1. Check KYC Status: First of all IHMCL official website ihmcl.co.in Go to. Here, click on ‘My FASTag’ and log in with your registered mobile number and OTP. As soon as you log in, you will see the KYC status of your FASTag.
2. What to do if KYC is pending:
   • After logging in to the same website, you will see the option of ‘KYC’.
   • Fill your important information here like name, address etc.
   • After this you will have to upload your identity and address proof (like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License) and Registration Certificate (RC) of your vehicle.
   • Your KYC will be verified within a short time of submitting the details.
3. You can also do it through bank: You can also update your KYC by visiting the FASTag portal of the bank from which you have taken your FASTag.
