Punjab Weather- The forecast of the Meteorological Department for Punjab seems to prove to be true. Many districts have been receiving heavy rains since last night. Mansa, Sangrur, Barnala, Patiala, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Rupnagar, Moga, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and Hoshiarpur districts are expected to cause lightning and strong winds at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph.
The Meteorological Center has issued a warning of heavy rains in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Dams of Himachal and Punjab are being vacated to deposit water in the event of heavy rains.
