20 year old youth from Nepal fell ill

On Monday, 20-year-old Laxman Adhikari, resident of Jumla, Nepal, suddenly became seriously ill during the Kedarnath Yatra. Considering the altitude and difficult weather of the Dham, his condition started deteriorating rapidly. He was immediately taken to Kedarnath Primary Health Center where first aid was started.

Joint team of NDRF-SDRF took charge

After first aid, when the need for higher medical care was felt in view of the critical condition of the patient, the joint team of NDRF and SDRF took immediate action. The team safely shifted the patient from PHC Kedarnath to the helipad. Vigilance and readiness were maintained at every moment during this entire campaign.

Referred to Rudraprayag District Hospital by helicopter

As soon as he reached the helipad, the patient was sent to Rudraprayag District Hospital through heli service, where he could get better treatment.
