The objective of this scheme run by the government is to educate girls of every category. Children can become self-reliant only by getting educated.

Balika Samriddhi Yojana is a government run scheme to educate girls. It was started in 1993.

The benefit of this scheme is available to daughters born below the poverty line i.e. in BPL families. Through this scheme the government helps them financially. So that the future of daughters can be secured.

Through Balika Samriddhi Yojana, it becomes easier for the parents of girls to educate their daughters. Through this scheme, the government bears all the expenses from the birth of daughters till their education.

Under this scheme, after the birth of a daughter, financial assistance of Rs 500 is given to the mother. After this, scholarships are given every year for their studies. In which every girl student up to class I-III will get Rs. 300, Class 5-10 Scholarship Amount: Rs. 600, Rs. 700, Rs. 800, and Rs. 1000 is given per year.

If you want to apply for Balika Samriddhi Yojana then you can apply both online and offline. If you want to apply offline, then first of all you will have to go to an Anganwadi worker or health service center and take the form.

To register your daughter's name under Balika Samriddhi Yojana, you will need many types of documents. This also includes the birth certificate of the child.

ID proof of parents or relative: For ID proof, you can use ration card, Aadhar card, bank account passbook etc.
