News India Live, Digital Desk: The atmosphere in the houses where Laddu Gopal i.e. Bal-Krishna resides is somewhat different. Devotees consider him not just an idol, but the youngest and most beloved member of the family. This is the reason why he is served exactly like a small child. But often the question comes in our mind that what is the right time to bathe Laddu Gopal? Can they be bathed at any time?
Service is not a rule, the language of love
To be honest, God is hungry for feelings. But just as we maintain discipline in our daily life, in the same way it is important to keep some things in mind while serving Kanha. According to the scriptures and elders, the best time to bathe Laddu Gopal is ‘Brahma Muhurta’ or just after sunrise. The time between 6:00 am to 9:00 am is considered the most auspicious because this is the time when both nature and our mind are calm and pure.
How to bathe Kanha?
Bathing Laddu Gopal is not just sprinkling water, it is an emotional experience:
- Lukewarm water: Be sure to keep an eye on the weather. Just like you check the water for your child, use only lukewarm water for them in winter.
- Happiness of Panchamrit: If daily is not possible, then bathe them once a week or on Ekadashi/Janmashtami with Panchamrit made from milk, curd, ghee, honey and Ganga water.
- Perfume and sandalwood: After bathing, apply light perfume or sandalwood on their body. Due to this, a pleasant aroma spreads throughout the house which gives peace to the mind.
avoid touching unclean condition
‘Cleanliness’ has great importance in the service of Laddu Gopal. Always touch them only after you have bathed and worn clean clothes. It should be kept in mind that while bathing them, our mind should be calm and some lovely name or mantra of God should be on our tongue.
What to do if you are busy?
Many times in our busy lives we are not able to worship on time. Don’t panic in such a situation. Kanha does not get angry with you. Just keep in mind that as soon as you wake up, wake them up in your mind and share your compulsion. In devotion, ‘feeling’ is greater than ‘compulsion’.
