
Beijing July 15: External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar on Tuesday met his counterparts of Chinese President Xi Chinfing and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Jayashankar posted on social media and told that he informed President Xi about the recent progress in India-China bilateral relations. After the military clashes in the Galwan Valley in June 2020, there was tension in bilateral relations after which this is Jaishankar’s first visit to China. Jayashankar said on the social media forum ‘X’, met the foreign ministers of President Xi Chinfing and SCO in Beijing this morning. He said, “He said to President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” The recent progress in the bilateral relations of the two countries apprised President Xi.
