Red alert of ‘heat wave’ has been issued in the districts of South Bihar.

Temperature crosses 44 in Dumraon, Buxar, Patna is in trouble

Temperature torture has started in the districts of Bihar. According to the latest data, Dumraon in Buxar district has been recorded as the hottest place in the state with 44.4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the temperature in the capital Patna has also crossed 41.5 degrees Celsius, due to which there is silence on the roads in the afternoon. Even in districts like Bhagalpur, Begusarai and Munger, the mercury is swinging between 43 to 44 degrees. Due to westerly winds, heat waves are scorching people.

‘Double attack’ of heat wave and storm

According to the Meteorological Department, two colors of weather are being seen in Bihar at this time. While South and Central Bihar is in the grip of severe heat wave, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and light rain in North-Eastern districts like Kishanganj, Araria and Supaul. Meteorologists say that on April 24 and 25, there may be a dust storm at a speed of 50 to 60 km per hour in some parts of the state, which may cause a slight drop in the temperature, but there is no possibility of getting permanent relief from the heat at the moment.

Increased risk of heat stroke: Do not leave the house in the afternoon

In view of the temperature constantly remaining between 40 to 45 degrees, the Health Department has also issued a high alert. According to doctors, the risk of heat stroke and dehydration is highest in this scorching heat.

Avoid leaving the house between 12 noon and 4 pm.

If it is necessary to go out, cover your head with a cloth and drink enough water.

Take special care of children and the elderly because they are more affected by heat wave.
