News India Live, Digital Desk: BnThe effect of cyclonic storm ‘Montha’ which arose from Gal Bay has now completely ended from Jharkhand. Due to this storm, many parts of the state including the capital Ranchi were cloudy for the last few days and there was light rain, but now the sky has cleared and the cold has set in. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that there is going to be severe cold in the coming days.

There will be a huge drop in night temperature

Meteorologists say that once the effect of the storm ends, the weather will remain dry in most parts of the state. As soon as the sky clears, the minimum temperature at night will drop rapidly. It is estimated that the night temperature may fall by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in the next few days, which will increase the severity of cold in the state. Mist and fog can also be seen in Ranchi and its surrounding areas in the morning.

Till now the temperature was higher than normal

During the last 24 hours, there was light rain in Ranchi due to the impact of the storm, while the minimum temperature remained around 21.5 degrees, which was about 6 degrees above normal. But now after the clouds clear, the cold will show its true colors. Pink cold was being felt in the state since the departure of monsoon and now with the departure of ‘Montha’ it will intensify. People will start feeling severe cold from the first week of November.

The Meteorological Department has advised people to arrange for warm clothes now because the coolness in the morning and evening will increase rapidly in the coming days.
