Bihar is currently facing two adverse weather conditions. While in one part of the state there is a danger of storm, rain and lightning, on the other hand, severe heat and heat wave have made life difficult for the people. In view of the seriousness of the situation, Patna-based Meteorological Center (IMD) has issued alerts for different districts.

Condition of Patna: There is no chance of rain in the capital for the next 3-4 days. The temperature here is expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius, resulting in extremely hot conditions.
The nights are also getting hotter: The minimum temperature in districts like Kaimur (31.4°C) and Patna (29°C) also remains much above normal, due to which people are not able to get respite from humidity and heat even at night.
Hope for relief: According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain around May 25, which may provide some relief to people from the scorching heat.
