Brij Bhushan Singh, accused in the alleged rape case of female wrestlers, has received a big setback from the Delhi High Court. Brij Bhushan had filed a petition demanding the cancellation of the FIR, charge sheet and the lower court's order of framing charges against him. However, he has not got any relief from the Delhi High Court at present. The Delhi High Court has asked Brij Bhushan's lawyer to submit a brief note to the court in this case.

Delhi High Court asked Brij Bhushan why he came to the court after the charges were framed in this case. Saying this, his application was rejected.

The lawyer said that all the incidents happened at different places at different times. This is just a conspiracy. In January last year, 30 wrestlers of the country, led by top wrestlers like Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat, went on strike against the then president of the Wrestling Federation of India, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The wrestlers accused Brij Bhushan of running the wrestling association arbitrarily and misbehaving with female wrestlers and female coaches. However, the wrestlers agreed to the inquiry and Brij Bhushan was asked to stay away from the work of the Sanka. A committee of the Olympic Association conducted an inquiry, but its report was not made public.
In such a situation, the wrestlers went on strike again in June. During this time, the strike continued for a long time and the wrestlers often clashed with the police. In the end, the wrestlers also returned their medals. The protest ended after a case was registered against Brij Bhushan. The hearing in this case is still going on. Brij Bhushan's tenure ended last year. In such a situation, he has withdrawn his name from the wrestling association.
