According to the police, the case is being investigated. Pune Deputy Superintendent of Police Bapurav Dadas said that the police received information from the local people at around 9.30 am today. After this information, the police team reached the spot and recovered some plastic jars in the garbage heap. The body of a newborn was kept in one of these vessels. The remaining jars were filled with bio-medical waste. These bio-medical waste are damaged organs extracted from the body of people suffering from serious diseases. He informed that some of these organs have been examined by the Health Department.

According to the DSP, the body of the newborn has been found in the same container, which has been taken into possession and sent for post -mortem. Only after the postmortem report comes, something can be said about this child. Police are trying to find out whether the infant was murdered or he was born dead. He has posted on the social media platform and demanded the investigation of the case and strict action against the accused hospital.
