Colleges will prepare cutoff from 2025

There is going to be a big change from 2025 in the admission process which has been going on for the last one and a half decade in the districts of Meerut division affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University. Now the responsibility of preparing the cutoff for admission will be shifted from the university to the colleges. After students register, colleges will check the uploaded certificates and decide the cutoff in proportion to seats.

Key points of the new admission process

1. Merit Preparation Process:
   • The colleges will prepare the merit as per the rules prescribed by the university.
   • Students will apply on the basis of these rules at the time of registration.
2. Verification of Certificates:
   • Students have to update their personal profile on Samarth portal.
   • All necessary certificates will be uploaded on the portal.
3. Merit Preparation:
   • The colleges will prepare the merit after examining the applications.
   • Merit will be made on the basis of academic marks and it will be published on Samarth portal.
   • The portal will only help in preparing the merit.

Changes in PG Diploma in Cyber ​​Law and other examination schedules

1. Cyber ​​Law Paper:
   • Will be held from 25th January to 31st January.
   • The exam time will be from 10 am to 1 pm.
2. MA/MSc Geography Paper:
   • The paper of G&H-3022 code will now be held on January 23 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
   • Earlier this exam was to be held on January 21.

Why is this change happening?

The state government has decided to conduct the admission process in all state universities through Samarth portal from the session 2025-26.

• All the universities and their affiliated colleges will be connected to the Samarth portal.
• This portal will integrate all the information like syllabus, subjects, seats, subject combination, merit rules, and eligibility.
• This step has been taken with the aim of bringing transparency in the admission process and reducing the administrative burden.
