Claim of vashikaran trick with peepal leaves and cloves: Know the truth of folk beliefs, psychological aspects and reality of relationships.

The history of superstitions related to traditional beliefs, folk tales and tantra-mantra in Indian society is quite old. Whenever there is tension in a person’s marital life, sourness arises in love relationships or mutual communication stops, many times people start looking for shortcut paths due to mental frustration and emotional pressure. Claims like ‘Sure Vashikaran with Peepal leaves and cloves’ are often seen being propagated extensively on the internet, social media and in traditional almanacs. In these claims, it is said that by writing the name of a particular person on a leaf of Peepal tree, placing two whole cloves on it and chanting special mantras or pressing it under a heavy stone, the person in front gets hypnotized and starts obeying everything you say. However, from the perspective of modern scientific era, legal provisions and practical psychology, there is no scientific or logical basis for controlling the independent mind, emotions or will of any human being through any leaf, clove or magic. This is a complete illusion spread by taking advantage of human weakness and fear, which is important for every sensible person to understand.

In the Indian Sanatan tradition and Ayurveda, Peepal tree and cloves are considered extremely sacred and medicinally miraculous, but it has nothing to do with subduing or hypnotizing anyone. According to Botany and Ayurveda, Peepal tree is one of the rare trees that emit oxygen 24 hours, whose shade and bark purify the environment and help in relieving stress. Lord Shri Krishna himself has said in Geeta – ‘Ashvattha Sarvavrikshanam’ i.e. I am the Peepal among trees. Due to this sacred feeling, our ancestors created the tradition of offering water to the Peepal tree and circling it with the aim of respecting and preserving nature. Clove, on the other hand, is a highly potent spice and natural antioxidant that has been used for centuries to treat toothache, sore throat, colds and digestive disorders. Cloves were used in worship and havan to destroy negative bacteria from the environment and to transmit positive energy. Over time, some selfish elements and hypocritical tantrikas started the business of superstition by wrapping these two very useful elements of nature in the misleading wrap of ‘vashikaran and magic’.

Psychologists clearly believe that tricks like Vashikaran are actually nothing but a psychological illusion. When a person is struggling with a problem and tries a so-called trick, a ‘Placebo Effect’ starts working within him. After doing the trick, there is an unconscious change in the person’s behavior – his anger calms down a bit, he becomes a little polite or conscious towards the other person, and when with the natural improvement of circumstances or passage of time, the person’s mood improves a little, then the person gives full credit for this to the Peepal leaf or clove. In the language of psychology, this is called ‘Confirmation Bias’, where a person remembers only the events that prove his pre-conceived notions correct and completely forgets the failure. The behaviour, emotions and decisions of any freely conscious human being cannot be ‘controlled’ by anything; Every person reacts according to his values, thoughts, preferences and circumstances.

People who get entangled in the web of vashikaran and tantric tricks often have to pay a heavy price. Today in the digital age, cyber thugs and self-proclaimed sorcerers trap people by running tempting advertisements on the internet. Initially the talk starts in the name of free or nominal puja and then gradually thousands and lakhs of rupees are extorted from the victims in the name of ‘removal of defects’, ‘special havan material’ and ‘avoidance of crisis’. In many cases, serious criminal incidents like blackmailing and misuse of personal photographs also come to light. By law, in many states of India, there are stringent penalties and jail terms for committing fraud under the guise of witchcraft, superstition and black magic. Apart from the financial loss, the biggest loss is that instead of solving the real problem, the person keeps sitting idle with the help of superstition, due to which even the remaining scope for improvement in the relationship gets eliminated and the relationship gets broken forever.

If there is distance in marital life, love relationship or family relationship, then the only solution is to adopt practical and humane methods instead of relying on peepal leaves or cloves. The foundation of any relationship is based on love, trust, freedom and mutual respect, and not on forcibly establishing control over anyone. The first and most effective step to improve relationships is ‘open communication’. Admitting your mistakes, listening carefully to the complaints of the other person without any prejudice and sharing your expectations clearly solves half the knot of any problem. The second solution is ’empathy and time’. If you give time to your partner, respect their preferences and become an unconditional partner in their happiness and sorrow, then any relationship automatically becomes stronger. If the conflict is very deep, the safest and wisest course of action is to seek help from a professional marriage counselor or family counselor. Genuine dedication, sweet words and selfless love is the biggest ‘vashikaran’ that can win a person’s heart forever.
