The ancient knowledge of Indian Sanatan culture, astrology and palmistry has a rich tradition of assessing the future and nature by studying the parts, lines and mountains of the human body. Many types of mountains and lines are found in our palms, which give important indications about a person’s life, thinking, behavior, success and financial status. Among all these mountains, the place of ‘Mercury Mount’ is considered very special. According to palmistry, Mount Mercury directly affects our intelligence, eloquence, business skills, logical ability and social life. The position of this mountain in the palm of a person – that is, whether it is developed, raised or flat and depressed – determines the chances of success, wealth and progress in his life. Let us know in detail what effect the position of Mount Mercury in the palm has on our lives and what are its auspicious and inauspicious signs.
Where is the Mount of Mercury located in the palm and what is its significance?
According to the rules of palmistry, the Mount of Mercury is the fleshy part located just below the smallest finger i.e. the little finger and near the Mount of Sun in our palm. It is very easy to recognize it. When you open your palm towards the front, the raised or fleshy area visible at the base of the smallest finger is called the Mount of Mercury.
In astrological beliefs, the ruling planet Mercury is considered to be the factor of intelligence, business, commerce, communication, mathematics and speech. Similarly, the Mount of Mercury in the palm represents the intellectual level of the person and his practical understanding. The person who has this mountain in his palm is strong and balanced, his communication skills are very excellent. On the strength of his intelligence and cleverness, he succeeds in creating a distinct identity for himself in every sphere of life.
A raised Mount of Mercury gives auspicious signs of success, sharp mind and excellent communication skills.
If on inspection of a person’s palm this area below the little finger appears well developed and slightly raised, then it is considered a very auspicious and positive sign in palmistry. Many special things related to the personality and life of the people who have Mount Mercury in their hands can be seen.
The first characteristic is that such people have a very sharp mind and sharp intelligence. They have a keen interest in understanding any complex thing very quickly and learning new topics or skills. These people perform exceptionally well in studies, research, science and logical fields. Apart from this, the speech and conversation style of people with a raised Mount of Mercury is very impressive. They can easily influence anyone with their words. Their understanding in matters of business and trade is amazing. They know very well how to calculate profit and loss in business, due to which they achieve success in business, management and corporate world. Their nature is friendly, cheerful and very attractive.
Vertical lines on the Mount of Mercury bring chances of sudden financial gain and progress.
In palmistry, not only the rise or expansion of Mount Mercury is important, but the small lines formed on this mount are also specially studied. If clean, clear and straight vertical lines are visible on the Mount of Mercury of a person, then it is considered extremely auspicious.
It is believed that these vertical lines present on the Mount of Mercury indicate business progress in a person’s life, continuous financial gain and great success in work. According to astrologers, people who have such lines in their palms are likely to get sudden financial gains many times in their life. This symbolizes that the person’s intelligence and his working style will continue to provide him with new and excellent opportunities for earning money.
What challenges and difficulties does a depressed or flat Mount of Mercury indicate?
On the contrary, if this fleshy part below the little finger in a person’s palm appears too flat, weak or depressed, then in palmistry it is placed in the category of weak Mount of Mercury. Such a Mount of Mercury can indicate struggle, hesitation and certain types of challenges in the life of the person.
People with weak or suppressed Mercury Mount often face a lot of difficulty in taking important decisions. They overthink before starting any work and sometimes get mentally disturbed over small things. A slight lack of self-confidence is often seen in such people. Despite their ability and talent, many times they are not able to express themselves with full conviction in public or in front of others.
Moreover, due to the influence of suppressed Mount Mercury, the natives have to work harder and struggle to get success in their career, job or business. They require immense patience and persistent efforts to reach their goals. Due to hesitation in talking, they are sometimes unable to convey their thoughts and feelings to the right person at the right time, due to which their work gets affected. However, palmistry also teaches that every challenge in life can be overcome with hard work, positive thinking and constant practice.
