According to mythology, one tearful drop ‘Pushkar Tirtha’ located in Rajasthan was constructed and the other was fell into Chakwal (present -day Pakistan), making the ‘sarcasm’ here. The water of this pool is considered extremely sacred, and it is believed that by taking a dip in it, all sins are washed away and the person attains salvation. Not only the Kunda, the confluence of ancient temples: The Katas Raj complex is not only a sarcasm pool, but it is a group of seven ancient temples, which the locals also know as ‘Satghara’. These temples are built in a special style (Chaukhandi style) and their architecture is very amazing. Apart from the Ram Temple, Hanuman Temple and Shiva Temple, some Jain temples are also found here, which reflect the religious diversity of this place. Mahabharata and Pandavas association: Katas Raj’s relationship is also linked to the Mahabharata period. It is believed that during his exile period, the Pandavas spent some time at this place. There is also a place where Dharmaraja Yudhishthira answered the questions of Yaksha. This increases the historical and religious significance of this site even more. Symbols of the Heritage: This ancient Shiva temple complex is not only the center of religious reverence, but also an important archaeological site, which is a lively proof of the common historical heritage of both India and Pakistan. Although the condition of this temple complex has declined over time over time, it is still creating its stories and importance, and holds a special place for devotees of both countries.
