The price of imported palm oil in the Mumbai spot market increased from Rs 900 to Rs 892 to Rs 902. Hawala-resale and direct delivery business was between 350 and 400 tonnes. The price of crude palm oil CPO Kandla was Rs 880.
Meanwhile, singoil prices remained soft in Saurashtra. Saurashtra single oil price fell from 1450 to 1460 and to Rs 2325 for 15 kg, while Saurashtra cotton wash price fell to Rs 925. In the current Mumbai market, 10 kg castor oil price was Rs 1510 and cottonseed oil price was Rs 995. Mumbai soybean oil prices rose to Rs 915 degum and refined to Rs 950.
The price of sunflower increased to Rs 890 and refined to Rs 950. The price of mustard oil increased to Rs 1170 and refined to Rs 1200. Mumbai prices increased by Rs 2 more on Diwali.
