The initial public offering (IPO) market is once again going to see tremendous activity and momentum. Big action is going to start in the stock market during the next month i.e. August, where more than a dozen big companies including quick commerce giant Zepto, TrueHome Finance and logistics platform ShipRocket have made full preparations to launch their IPOs. According to the information received from market experts and merchant bankers, in the coming month, a huge capital of more than Rs 25,000 crore is expected to be raised through IPO of all these companies, which will open up a lot of earning opportunities for investors in the primary market.
Total IPO volume will be more than Rs 25,000 crore in August
Stock market experts believe that these new IPOs coming in the month of August will include the option of Offer for Sale (OFS) from existing investors and shareholders along with the issuance of new shares. Elaborating on this, Bhavesh Shah, Managing Director and Investment Banking Head, Equirus Capital, said that at present, due to better stability in the stock market and increasing investor confidence, even those companies are coming forward, which had earlier postponed their IPO plans for some time due to market uncertainties.
All eyes on IPO of Zepto and Truehome Finance
Among all the upcoming initial public offerings, the biggest and most awaited name is that of the popular instant commerce platform i.e. Zepto. Under this scheme, the company is aiming to raise a huge amount of about Rs 8,010 crore from the market by issuing new shares. Along with this, Zepto will also bring an offer for sale i.e. OFS of about 11.34 crore equity shares. On the other hand, leading housing finance company TrueHome Finance is also all set to launch an IPO of around Rs 3,000 crore, which is likely to include fresh issue of shares worth Rs 1,500 crore and OFS of the same amount.
Many big companies like ShipRocket and Milky Mist are included in the list.
In the month of August, not only Zepto, but many other well-known companies are also going to enter the capital market for their financial expansion. Elevate Campuses will completely issue new shares under the IPO aggregating to Rs 2,550 crore. Apart from this, logistics startup ShipRocket has also filed its necessary documents for IPO of Rs 2,342.35 crore, in which fresh issue of Rs 1,100 crore and OFS of Rs 1,242.35 crore have been kept. In this long list, Innovativeview India is planning to launch an IPO of up to Rs 2,000 crore and popular dairy brand Milky Mist Dairy Food is planning to launch an IPO of Rs 1,553 crore. Apart from these, companies like Dhoot Transmission, ARCIL, Ardi Industries, Gaza Alternative Asset Management, Rise of Belief, Hi-Tech Engineers, Shankesh Jewelers and Learnfluence Education are also preparing to present their share in the market.
Strengthening investor confidence and excellent trend in the current market
Financial market experts clearly believe that this increasing pace of companies launching IPOs is a direct indication of the unwavering confidence of investors and strong demand in the Indian stock market. During the current year, so far a total of 36 companies have entered the market through their IPOs, out of which shares of nine companies have been listed in the stock market this month alone. Apart from this, the pace of the market is not going to slow down even in the last days of July, because the IPOs of Manipal Health Enterprises and Juniper Green Energy are going to open on 29th and 30th July respectively, while MV Electrosystems is also making full preparations to present its IPO to the investors next week itself.
