Mirzapur, 21 November (HS). Cabinet minister of Yogi government did darshan and worship of Mata Vindhyavasini at Swatantradev Dham. City MLA Ratnakar Mishra welcomed him by covering him with Chunari and offering him Prasad. The Cabinet Minister took the blessings of the Mother Goddess by performing rituals in her court.
Vindhyachalatra Dev Singh reached Vindhyadham at around 9.15 pm on Wednesday night and after darshan and worship for about half an hour, left for Varanasi. Earlier, he had gone to Banda to express condolences in the family mourning of an organization official. On his way back, when he reached Vindhyachal Dham, his vehicle turned towards Maa’s court.
The work of worship was completed by Pt. Chitrasen Mishra. The Minister took darshan of all the deities in the temple premises and experienced the beautiful aura of the sparkling Vindhya Corridor. After the darshan, he again remembered and bowed to Mother Vindhyavasini and left for Varanasi.
During this time, security and administrative preparations remained fine on the arrival of the Minister at the Dham. Local devotees also considered his darshan as an auspicious occasion.
