News India Live, Digital Desk: Big Step of the Government: An important initiative has been taken to correct land disputes and mistakes in Bihar. Now information related to land revenue like account, Khesra, Jamabandi in the state can be repaired by sitting at home. For this, revenue camps are being started in the entire state from today. This camp will prove to be a big relief for millions of villagers who were upset due to errors or disputes in documents related to their land. These camps will give the villagers a chance to connect directly to the revenue department by eliminating the role of middlemen. After the instructions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Revenue and Land Reforms Department has embodied this initiative. Now these camps will be organized regularly at the block level and all of them will be monitored by the District Magistrates themselves. District magistrates have been instructed to review the functioning of these camps during weekly meetings, so that their effectivity can be ensured and maximum people can get benefits. This step is a big effort to bring transparency and make government services accessible for the common people. Camps will be organized at different times in different areas of the state. The district administration has issued the Gram Panchayat and Ward War Schedule in this regard, whose information will be given publicly in the respective areas so that all the citizens can get its information. People have been requested to reach their respective camps on the scheduled dates and get their problems resolved. In this, they can take their documents related to the land, such as Khatian, Lagaan receipt, registry papers, etc. so that the errors can be improved immediately. The main objective of these revenue camps is to rectify the mistakes prevailing in the land documents, which include errors especially shown in the online Bhulekh. There have been many cases where there is a difference in the ground situation and record, due to which the villagers have to face difficulties in taking advantage of various government schemes or in their land transactions. Through these camps, all such disputes and errors will be resolved, which will also promote the rural economy and decrease in land -related quarrels. The government believes that this initiative will also help in reducing land fraud in the state and will provide a safe and transparent system to the villagers. With this, they will not have any uncertainty about the ownership of their land, so that they will be able to manage their property properly. These revenue camps will be operated in the entire state and they will also spread awareness in rural areas how they can keep their land records right.
