According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), today i.e. 9 March 2026 Indian Airlines operates flights from various countries in West Asia to almost 50 flights Are operating. The government aims to bring back passengers safely and economically despite war-like conditions.

Government’s ‘Mission Repatriation’: Key Points

In view of the seriousness of the situation, the Ministry has issued special instructions for airlines and passengers:

Operation of 50 flights: Companies like Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet and Akasa Air will fly Indians to India from major airports like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Jeddah and Fujairah.

Look at ticket prices: The government has clarified that airlines will not be able to take advantage of this crisis to increase fares. Ticket prices are being continuously monitored so that there is no financial burden on the passengers.

Safety First: Considering the situation in the airspace, airlines have been given full freedom to make necessary changes in the routes and timings of their flights, so that the safety of passengers can be ensured.

Data till now: Thousands have returned home

According to official data, a large number of Indians have returned safely in the last few days:

7 March: through 51 flights 8,175 passengers Reached India.

8 March: 49 flights were successfully operated.

Total return: So far in the first week of March more than 52,000 Indians have returned from Gulf countries.
