
There is good news for millions of students of Bihar who applied for admission in Bihar Intermediate (11th standard) under the online facility system for students (OSS)! Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the first merit list for admission in class 11. Now all the applicants can complete the further admission process by looking at their names in the selection list.
This merit list has been prepared on the basis of marks, preference and reservation category filled by students. Through this list, students will be able to know which college or school they will get admission.
This is how your merit list check (step-by-step guide):

First of all visit the official website of OSS Bihar: For ofssbihar.net Click on

Find links: On the home page, you will see a link like “Intermediate 2025 Cutoff Marks First Selection List” or “First Selection List”, click on it.

Fill the information: A new page will open where you have to enter your “Application Number” or “Roll Number” and “Date of Birth”.

Submit: After filling all the information correctly, click on the “submit” or “login” button.

view result: Your selection list and allotted college/school information will be displayed on the screen.

Download ‘Intection letter’: If you are selected, do not forget to download your “intimation letter”. This letter will have important information related to your admission and college name.
What to do next for admission? (Important instructions):

Intemission letter: Whatever college or school has been allotted to you, it will be mandatory for you to take this ‘Intection letter’.

Necessary documents: Be sure to take all your original documents (eg – 10th marksheet, school lending certificate (SLC), character certificate, Aadhaar card, photocopy of bank passbook, passport size photo and documents related to reservation category). Take their photocopy too.

Entry fee: The prescribed entry fee will have to be deposited in the college/school.

Last date: Note that there is a fixed time frame of admission. You have to take admission in the allotted institute within the same period based on this first list.

‘Slide up’ option: If you are not satisfied with the allotted college and want to enroll in your next preference college, use the ‘slide up’ option. This option will work only when you have taken temporary admission in the currently allotted college.
This is the first list, and it is expected that the second and third list will be released soon. Students whose names have not come in this list do not have to be disappointed, they can wait for the next list or pay attention to the ‘slide up’ process.
