News India Live, Digital Desk: There is a big and good news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Jharkhand. Hemant Soren government has approved an important change in the police recruitment process, due to which the path of recruitment can now become a little easier. In the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, amendments have been made in the recruitment rules of India Reserve Battalion (IRB) and Wireless Inspector, which will directly benefit lakhs of candidates.
Now 1600 meters race will have to be completed in 6 minutes
The Cabinet has changed the rules of Physical Efficiency Test for India Reserve Battalion (Sepoy) Recruitment. According to the new rule, now male candidates will have to complete the 1600 meter race in 6 minutes. Whereas, female candidates will have to complete this race in 10 minutes. Earlier rules had different standards regarding race, which have now been rationalized. This step of the government is expected to provide great relief to those youth who are preparing for the physical examination.
Changes were also made in the reinstatement of Wireless Inspector
Not only constables, but also the rules for recruitment of inspectors have been changed. Amendment in ‘Jharkhand Police Radio Operator (Wireless Inspector) Appointment Rules’ has also been approved. This change will help in speeding up the recruitment process of Wireless Inspector and making it more transparent.
Other major decisions of the cabinet which will be kept an eye on
Apart from changes in police recruitment, the Cabinet gave its approval to a total of 18 proposals, which include several other important decisions:
- ‘Mangur’ becomes the state fish of Jharkhand: The indigenous ‘Clarias Mangur’ fish has been declared the state fish of Jharkhand. Its objective is to conserve this species and promote fish farming.
- STEM labs will be set up in schools: A state-of-the-art science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) lab will be set up in a ‘CM School of Excellence’ in every district of the state.
- 4-star hotel to be built in Deoghar: To promote tourism, ‘hotel Baidyanath Vihar’ located in Deoghar will be developed as a 4-star hotel on PPP mode.
- Promotion of agriculture and dairy: Several schemes were also approved under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana, including renovation of the dairy plant in East Singhbhum.
These decisions of the government will directly impact the youth, farmers and tourism sector of the state. Especially the change in police recruitment rules is being considered as a big gift for the candidates waiting for jobs.
