Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya listened to the problems of the local people through ‘Janata Darshan’ at Circuit House, Prayagraj and gave necessary directions to the concerned officials for their proper solution. After that he also held a press conference with journalists.
Describing the solution of public problems as an important responsibility of public service, Shri Maurya expected the officers to take the complaints of the common people seriously and ensure their timely disposal as per the rules. He said that sensitivity towards public problems, administrative accountability and effective implementation of schemes are the main foundations of good governance. There should not be any unnecessary delay in providing benefits of government schemes to the eligible beneficiaries.
He stressed the need to extend the benefits of public welfare schemes and development works being carried out in the state to the needy under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Arrangements like providing housing to eligible families through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, health security to eligible beneficiaries through Ayushman Bharat Yojana, clean fuel under Ujjwala Yojana and providing food grains to eligible families under National Food Security Act play an important role in improving the lives of the poor and deprived sections.
