Before the formation of government in Pakistan, the prices of petrol, diesel and gas were given to the public

After the elections held on February 8 in Pakistan, a new government has not been formed yet. The caretaker government has once again put the burden of inflation on the public. Inflation has broken the back of Pakistani people. The government has once again increased the prices of LPG along with petrol and diesel.

Diesel has become costlier by Rs 8

According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, the government there has increased the price of petrol by Rs 2.73 and the price of diesel by Rs 8.37. The Government of Pakistan issued an order regarding the increase in prices on Thursday (15 February) night.

According to the orders of the Government of Pakistan, the prices of these essential commodities have been increased for the next fortnight. Since February 16, the price of petrol in Pakistan has increased to Rs 275.62 and the price of high speed diesel has increased to Rs 287.33 per liter. Earlier, petrol was being sold at Rs 272.89 and diesel at Rs 278.96 per liter in Pakistan.

In an announcement issued late Thursday night, Pakistan's Finance Ministry said the government has decided to revise petroleum prices for the next fortnight following the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority. There has been no change in the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel in this announcement. Experts believe that petrol and high-speed diesel prices in Pakistan are expected to increase by Rs 4-11 per liter.

67 percent increase in gas prices approved

In an order issued late Thursday night, the Pakistani Cabinet approved a 67 percent increase in natural gas tariffs from February 1. According to the Prime Minister's Office, a cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, in which these decisions were taken.
