PVC smart card will be available free
PVC Voter ID Card i.e. Smart Card is provided free of cost to every Indian citizen by the Election Commission. When we all have to vote in the Lok Sabha elections, to get the PVC card you just have to apply online sitting at home.
Follow the steps given below to apply to get PVC card at home.
Step 1: First click on Voter Service Portal https://voters.eci.gov.in/.
Step 2: Now here you have to click on Form 8 with transfer of residence/correction of entries in existing voter list/substitution of EPIC/marking of PWD.
Step 3: If you haven't created an account here, sign up first.
Step 4: Once the account is created, login by entering the password.
Step 5: Now enter the EPIC number and click on Issue of Replacement EPIC without Correction.
Step 6: Now a form will open in front of you, in which you will have to fill the details.
Step 7: While applying for a new card, you will get three options Lost, Destroyed, Mutilated. You have to select one of these options.
Step 8: Now after filling the complete form, check the form once again.
Step 9: After submitting the form you will get a reference number. After which download the filled form for your records.
After some time of this processing, this new PVC card will be received by post on your Aadhar card address.
