According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may remain dry in eastern UP on October 29, but the real change will be seen after this. There is every possibility of heavy rain in this area on 30th and 31st October. During this time the sky will be densely covered with clouds and there is a possibility of lightning.
Storm coming from Bay of Bengal
The major reason for this change is the cyclonic storm ‘Montha’ formed in the Bay of Bengal. It is being told that this storm will reach Bihar by Wednesday and from Thursday its effect will be clearly visible in many areas of Eastern UP including Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Deoria, and Kushinagar. There may be heavy rain with strong winds here, so people have been advised to be careful.
Weather changed in Gorakhpur from now on
The weather has already taken a turn in Gorakhpur. The sky is cloudy and rain accompanied by thunder has brought down the temperature. Due to this the shivering in the morning and evening has increased. The Meteorological Department estimates that this series of rains may continue till November 1.

- Varanasi: Fluctuations in temperature will also be seen in Kashi. Today the temperature here will be 29.1 degrees, while it is expected to be 26.4 degrees on Thursday, 24 degrees on Friday, 23.5 degrees on Saturday, 30.2 degrees on Sunday and 30.7 degrees on Monday.
