As per the rules of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), today Banks open across India on Saturday, March 7, 2026 And work is going on normally.

Reason: 7th March first saturday Is. According to RBI guidelines, banks are closed only on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Banks remain fully operational on the first, third and fifth Saturdays (if any).

When is the next holiday?

Today banks are open, but tomorrow i.e. Sunday 8th March Due to this, all banks across the country will remain closed. Also, next week Second Saturday on March 14 This is the day when there will be a bank holiday again. If any of your work is left today, you may have to wait till Monday (March 9).
