News India Live, Digital Desk: Ruckus in ram swaroop university: A small controversy between students and university guards at Shri Ram Swaroop Memorial University in Lucknow has now turned into a big confrontation. Following the lathicharge made by the police in this case, the student organization Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has expressed deep displeasure and gave the Yogi government an ultimatum to take action within 48 hours.

Where did the whole matter start?

According to the information, a few days ago there was an argument between some students of the university and the security guards stationed there about something, which turned into a fight on seeing it. The students allege that the guards misbehaved and assaulted them.

When sticks were on protests

When students associated with ABVP reached the university to protest against this incident, the atmosphere worsened. The students allege that while they were speaking peacefully, the police present on the spot started rarely launching them. Many students suffered injuries in this lathicharge and some were also taken into custody by the police.

ABVP warns of big movement

The incident of this lathicharge has done ghee in the fire. ABVP officials held an emergency meeting about this and strongly condemned the attitude of the police administration. He has warned the Yogi government in clear terms that if no strict action is taken against the guards of the university and lathi -charged policemen within the next 48 hours, then ABVP will be forced to launch a big movement in the entire state.

After this ultimatum, the pressure on the administration has increased. At present, there is an atmosphere of tension in the university and the surrounding area and everyone’s eyes are on what steps the government takes further in this matter.
