News India Live, Digital Desk: The faces may have changed in the politics of Bihar and a new name may have come to the chair of power, but the ‘real owner’ of the state is still the same. This claim has been made by none other than Mokama’s powerful MLA Anant Singh. While addressing the media, Anant Singh made it clear in his familiar style that even though Nitish Kumar has become active in Delhi politics, the Bihar government will still run on his instructions.

Nitish Kumar has not gone anywhere, Delhi is not a foreign country

When Anant Singh was asked that now that Samrat Chaudhary has become the Chief Minister, will Nitish Kumar’s dominance end? To this he replied sarcastically, “Nitish Kumar has not gone anywhere. Delhi is not in a foreign country that he has gone away. He may have gone to Rajya Sabha, but the owner will remain the same.” Anant Singh further said that the new government will move forward only on the vision and guidance of Nitish Kumar. He clarified that the people who have been assigned the work will work only under the guidelines of Nitish Kumar.

Anant Singh angry at Nishant Kumar’s ‘insistence’: Said- This is madness

Anant Singh gave a sharp reaction to the question of Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar rejecting big posts like Deputy CM or MLC. He said, “Nishant was getting a big responsibility, but he refused. Many people tried to convince him but he did not agree.” Anant Singh further said that Nishant saying that he will do something on his own is a kind of madness. He should have stayed in the party and listened to everyone and taken over the legacy of Nitish Kumar. However, he also added that he has not personally spoken to Nishant.

Questions raised again on prohibition, ‘dry intoxication’ said to be the real danger

Amidst the political discussion, Anant Singh once again advocated abolishing the liquor prohibition law in Bihar. He argued that due to prohibition, the trend of ‘dry intoxication’ (smack and drugs) has increased to dangerous levels in the state. Expressing concern, he said, “Liquor should have been banned, but now it would be better to open it. Small children are falling prey to smack. If the youth have to be saved, then this decision will have to be reconsidered.”

Emperor Chaudhary’s coronation and future path

This statement of Anant Singh is enough to refute the speculations that Nitish Kumar’s influence will reduce if BJP becomes the Chief Minister of Bihar. According to Anant Singh, the administrative system and policy decisions will still be operated from the same center from where they have been taken for the last two decades. Now it remains to be seen how the government led by Samrat Chaudhary will take forward Anant Singh’s advice on prohibition and Nitish Kumar’s ‘guidance’.
