During the recent Quad countries meeting, India’s Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar’s work was highly appreciated by Marco Rubio, a prominent US senator. Rubio praised the Indian Foreign Minister as a “very busy person”.
Rubio said that S. Jaishankar is extremely adept at his work and is often found busy with different meetings and responsibilities. He also admitted that India is playing an important role in the world today, especially in the Indo-Pacific region.
Senator Rubio also mentioned India’s complex foreign policy, in which New Delhi has to maintain balance in its relations with the US, Russia and other countries. According to Rubio, the way Jaishankar plays these responsibilities reflects his diplomatic skills and ability. This is not the first time that India’s Foreign Minister has been praised on the global stage.
