The path of love is never easy, but when the trust of loved ones becomes a deep illusion, then how dreadful the consequences can be, an example of this was seen in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. There was a stir in Bhulli Quarter located in Ward No. 17 of Ramgarh Municipal Council area when a loving couple, missing for the last several days, suddenly returned. As soon as the news of the couple’s arrival was received, dozens of people from the girl’s side got angry and attacked the boy’s house. Three members of the family, including the boy’s mother, have been seriously injured in this violent attack.
Called back on the pretext of social customs
The story of this entire controversy starts from 30th April. Ramvriksh and Mamta, residents of Bhulli quarter, had suddenly gone missing from their respective homes. Troubled by the sudden disappearance of their daughter, the family had lodged a complaint of missing and kidnapping at Ramgarh police station.
Here, after running away from home, both of them went straight to West Bengal. There they had a court marriage with mutual consent following the legal procedure completely. After the marriage, Mamta called her family and informed them that they were safe and that both of them had now become husband and wife.
Girl’s accusation:
Mamta told that after hearing about her marriage, the family members talked very lovingly on the phone. He assured that he was not angry with this marriage and both of them should return home so that they could be married again as per the customs in front of the society. Trusting this sweet assurance of their family members, both of them returned back to Ramgarh, but little did they know that they would be welcomed there with sticks.
Broke the main door of the house, entered inside and caused bloodshed
As soon as the newly married couple reached the boy’s house on Thursday morning, people from the girl’s side came there with sticks and rods. Without giving any chance to talk and explain, the matter directly turned into a violent clash. The agitated mob broke the main door of the boy’s house and entered inside the house and started brutally beating anyone who came in front. The boy’s elderly mother and two other relatives, who came to intervene, suffered serious injuries in the attack. There was screams in the entire house and within no time the entire area was transformed into a police camp.

As soon as information about the uproar was received, Municipal Council Vice President and local ward councilor Randhir Gupta immediately reached the spot. He tried to convince and pacify the angry crowd, but seeing the situation going out of control, he immediately called Ramgarh police station.
As soon as the information was received, the police force reached the spot and brought the situation under control by driving away the attackers. Keeping security in mind, the police immediately took the love couple into their protective custody and brought them to the police station.
Mamta recorded her statement very boldly in front of the police officers at the police station. He said clearly:

At present, Ramgarh police station has sent the injured people to the hospital for treatment and on the basis of the girl’s statement, they are deeply investigating this entire controversy, attack and vandalism case. The police is taking full alertness to ensure that tension does not increase again in the area.
