Action taken by UPPCL Chairman Chief Engineer Removed, Many Other Officers to be replaced

Devraj has initiated strict action against careless officials. According to information received from the sources, the chairman of UPPCL has ordered the Chief Engineer (Chief Engineer) of Bareilly region and Superintendent Engineer (Superintending Engineer) of Bijnor region to ‘free’ with immediate effect, which means that he has been removed from his post. Not only this, 14 Executive Engineers (XEN) and 16 Assistant Engineer/Junior Engineer (JE) associated with various circles have also been suspended with immediate effect. All of them are accused of negligence in work and decrease in accountability.

After this action, UPPCL President M. Devraj has further said that no officer will be spared to the reduction in electricity system or not taking the complaints of consumers seriously. He believes that such careless officers are obstructed in the way of better power supply. This decision has been taken with the aim of bringing new faces in the department and increasing functionality.
