A soldier from Sirsa was martyred in Siachen, his health deteriorated while on duty, he died in the hospital

Haryana jawan Baldev Singh, posted in Siachen Glacier in Ladakh, has been martyred. During duty, the soldier complained of vomiting, nervousness and chest pain. He died during treatment in the hospital. After this, other military officials, including the Northern Command Head, paid tribute to the martyr and sent the body to his ancestral village with military honors. The body of the martyr will reach Sirsa on Monday afternoon.

According to family members, Baldev Singh was promoted to the post of Subedar a year ago. Baldev Singh Kumar was posted in this post. According to army officials, the incident took place on Sunday. Baldev Singh was on duty at Kumar post in Northern Glacier. He slept well on Saturday night. When he woke up on Sunday morning, his health was not good. The first soldier vomited. He then said that he is feeling nervous.

The soldier was then rushed to the hospital for treatment immediately. There the soldier also complained of chest pain. When the doctors were treating him, his condition deteriorated at around 11 am and he died. Soldier Baldev Singh, whose father had already died, was originally a resident of Jhopra village in Sirsa district. Recently he was living with his family in Birpur Colony located in front of Air Force Sirsa. He is survived by a brother, his wife and 2 children.

Family members said that Baldev Singh was admitted to the post of constable in 18 JAK RIF unit of the Army in March 2001. After this, he was promoted and made Subedar about a year ago. Now military officials have left Ladakh with his body. He will come to Delhi by airplane. From there we will reach Sirsa.
