When will NASA astronaut Suneela Williams, who has been stranded on the space station with her partner for a long time, return to Earth? This question is now becoming a big puzzle for NASA as well as people around the world. Space agencies of various countries, including the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), are monitoring NASA's efforts to bring them back. So that if such a situation arises there, they can learn lessons to deal with it. ISRO Chairman S Somnath is also keeping a close eye on this mission. For the first time, he explained in detail the reasons due to which Sunita is stranded there.

Boeing built a new spacecraft
In an interview to the news agency NT, S Somnath said that Boeing has built a new spacecraft to send humans into space. This is the first flight of this new spacecraft in which Commander Barry Wilmore has gone into space with Sunita Williams. He is the first astronaut to go into space to test this spacecraft.

Helium gas was leaking
The ISRO chief said that Boeing was facing problems from the very beginning of this space mission. When the docking was successful and both the astronauts reached space, the evaluation of the spacecraft began to bring them back. At that time some flaws were found in it. The investigation revealed that helium gas was leaking from the spacecraft and some thrusters of the spacecraft were not working.

Boeing company scientists are now trying to figure out why conditions are not safe enough for the mission to return, because Scientists have begun to conduct simulation tests . He suggested that NASA scientists may have indicated the need for some more time to resolve these discrepancies. Therefore, bringing these two passengers back to Earth has been postponed for the time being. Now Boeing engineers are conducting simulation tests on Earth.

When can he come?
Somnath said that according to the information received so far, Boeing's simulation test report has come OK. However, its correct assessment will be done by the official agency of America. He told that when Sunita Williams and Barry Billmore will return to Earth is closely related to the fitness of the spacecraft. Unless the control system, thermal protection system and other systems of the spacecraft work properly, it will not be possible to land both the astronauts safely.

India is also learning a lesson!
ISRO Chairman S Somnath said that India is also learning from the Sunita Williams incident. We are also preparing for Gaganyaan. Situations like Sunita Williams can arise with us too. Therefore, we are also keeping an eye on the efforts of agencies of other countries who keep a close watch on such situations. So that action can be taken in case of emergency.
