Ghaziabad, 14 August (HS). In the meeting of industrialists held at the Municipal Corporation headquarters, points related to the Health Department and the Lighting Department were specially discussed. In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Singh Malik, points related to the Garden Department, Lighting Department, Construction Department, Health Department, Tax Department and Water Supply Department were discussed.
The industrialists discussed with the officials point-wise regarding removal of illegal encroachment within the industrial area, solution of water logging problem, setting up camps for collection of house tax, maintaining regular cleanliness system. The Municipal Commissioner directed the Chief Tax Assessment Officer Dr Sanjeev to set up camps for the convenience of the industrialists in the industrial area. Along with this, the people present were also appealed to pay the house tax on the basis of self-assessment.
The Municipal Commissioner gave instructions to run a special cleanliness campaign in the industrial areas. The Municipal Health Officer Dr. Mithilesh was asked to strengthen the monitoring in which instructions were also given for surprise inspection. The Municipal Health Officer informed the people present that as per the instructions of the Municipal Commissioner, 200 additional employees have been deployed for cleaning around 18 places in all five zones. 33 vehicles have been deployed for garbage collection which are working as a campaign from July 1. A plan is being made to further strengthen the cleanliness system as per the instructions given.
A discussion was held to strengthen the arrangements of the lighting department, on which the in-charge of lighting informed that about 450 new lights have been installed in the industrial area under the five zones and high masks have also been installed at many places as per the requirement. Plantation has also been done to make the parks well-organized and beautiful. The Municipal Commissioner has directed that the construction department should also start work to streamline the internal routes.
Hariom Chauhan Satya Bhushan Aggarwal from Amrit Steel, Sanjeev from Bulandshahr Industrial Area, Arun Sharma from Kavi Nagar Industrial Area, Mukesh Gupta from Sahibabad Industrial Area, Ashok from Trans Indian Industrial Area, Sunil Tyagi from Duhai Industrial Area and other industrial area officials were also present in the meeting of industrialists.
