Ranchi, August 13 (HS). Jharkhand State Housing Board has decided to give land to National Women Hockey Team players Salima Tete and Nikki Pradhan in Harmu, capital Ranchi. Both of them can build a house on this land. The proposal in this regard was approved in the 74th meeting of the Board held on Tuesday at the Board headquarters.
19 proposals were brought in the meeting chaired by Board Chairman Sanjay Lal Paswan. Apart from this, five other proposals also came. After the meeting, the chairman told the media that the proposal to give land to women hockey players like Salima Tete and Nikki Pradhan to build houses in Harmu from the government quota has been approved. Both will be allotted 3750-3750 square feet of land. Apart from this, among the important proposals, there is also a matter of building a five star hotel on the land located in front of the Board headquarters. It has been approved. Advertisement will be issued for this. Operations will be done in joint venture. Apart from this, efforts will also be made to build houses and shops on the land near the Board headquarters (Harmu).
Sanjay Lal Paswan said that action will be taken at the board level across the state against those people who are using the allotted houses and properties for commercial purposes. A list of 294 such people has been prepared across the state. The process of cancelling the properties allotted to them will be started within a week. Along with this, the process of allotment of ready-made flats in Dhanbad, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Ranchi through e-lottery will be adopted at the board level.
