New Delhi, 01 August (HS). After the presentation of the budget, people have got the first shock of inflation. Public sector oil and gas marketing companies have increased the price of commercial gas by up to Rs 8.50 per cylinder. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinder. The new rates have come into effect from Thursday (today).
According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of 19 kg commercial gas in the country's capital Delhi has increased by Rs 6.50 to Rs 1652.50 per cylinder, which was earlier available for Rs 1646. In Kolkata, it has increased by Rs 8.50 and is available for Rs 1764.50, which was earlier available for Rs 1756. Whereas, in Mumbai, its price has increased by Rs 7 per cylinder to Rs 1605. It was earlier selling for Rs 1598. Similarly, in Chennai, commercial gas cylinder is available for Rs 1817.
