Jammu, July 16 (HS). Ranavijay Singh, grandson of former Sadar-e-Riyasat Dr. Karan Singh, expressed deep grief over the tragic martyrdom of five soldiers including an army officer during an encounter in Doda district. The soldiers displayed extraordinary courage and devotion to duty while protecting the country's borders and made the supreme sacrifice.

In a statement issued here, Singh expressed his condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers and acknowledged their irreparable loss. He stressed the need for the Central government to respond strongly to such acts of aggression and terrorism emanating from Pakistan. Urging a befitting reply, he reiterated the nation's resolve to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its brave soldiers.

He said this cowardly act of violence against our soldiers is reprehensible and must be responded to strongly. The sacrifice of these braves will always be remembered with respect. Singh also highlighted the valor and commitment of the armed forces in ensuring the security of the country's borders. He acknowledged their tireless efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
