Hazaribagh, July 16 (HS). In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI has arrested another accused from Hazaribagh on Tuesday. The arrested accused has been identified as Rajkumar alias Raju. Apart from this, the CBI has also arrested Pankaj from Patna. It is being said that Pankaj is accused of stealing the NEET paper and Raju had forwarded it.
The CBI team was visiting Hazaribagh for two days. On Monday, the CBI team raided the Raj Guest House located in Ramnagar of Hazaribagh. Before this, a raid was conducted at the Kadma residence of Raj Guest House owner Rajkumar Singh alias Raju. On Monday, the team reached Raj Guest House with Raju in custody. The team asked him for the keys to open the guest house, when the keys were not found, the team broke the lock. The team searched the guest house for hours, from where the CBI got hold of many suspicious documents. The CBI team took Rajkumar alias Raju with them to Patna.
A five-member CBI team arrived in an Innova and an Ertiga car. They were accompanied by two suspects, who were made to sit face to face and were questioned with Rajkumar Raju in the guest house itself. The raid was conducted on the information provided by the arrested persons. It has been reported that he is connected to Oasis School principal Ehsan Ul Haq, vice principal Imtiyaz Alam and journalist Jamaluddin, who were arrested from Hazaribagh. For the past two days, the CBI team in Hazaribagh is investigating this case in a very confidential manner. It is also being said that the CBI has received information about some students or parents coming and staying in the guest house. On this basis, Raju is being questioned.
Earlier, on July 8, the CBI became active in Hazaribagh. The CBI team first knocked at Oasis School. Here the team obtained information about the recent exams held at Oasis School. Along with this, they took with them the attendance set and detailed information of the students who appeared in those exams. Hazaribagh remains the main center of the NEET paper leak case. CBI arrested three people with evidence, including the principal, vice principal and journalist Jamaluddin of this school and took them to Patna. After a few days, two teachers of the school were also summoned to Patna, who were released after interrogation. During the investigation, Blue Dart Courier employees were also questioned.
