Dhamtari, July 16 (HS). Traffic police has taken action against 16 careless drivers with the help of an interceptor vehicle. This action of the traffic police has created panic among other drivers. Late in the evening, action was taken against many drivers on Rudri-Gangrel road with the help of this vehicle.
Traffic DSP Manishanker Chandra and traffic staff took action against 14 careless bike, car, truck, matador, mini-elephant drivers driving at over speed through laser machine speed radar in offline mode and to reduce road accidents on the old Dhamtari-Raipur road and to make people follow traffic rules. On Tuesday, traffic police took action against 14 careless bike, car, truck, matador, mini-elephant drivers driving at over speed through interceptor vehicle in offline mode and imposed fine of Rs. 26000. On the other hand, two vehicles driving without seat belt were fined Rs. 1500 and drivers were advised to follow traffic rules. Similarly, in the evening, action was taken against speeding and three-seater drivers on Rudri-Gangrel road with the help of this vehicle. This action of traffic police will reduce road accidents. Sub-Inspector Bodhan Dhruv, Prar Bhenuram Warm, Jitendra Kridatta, constable Tarun Sahu, driver constable Santosh Thakur, Pawan Dilli were involved in this police action.
