Due to bad weather, there have been reports of landslides in neighboring country Nepal. However, a massive landslide has occurred on the Madan Ashrit Highway in central Nepal this morning. Due to which two buses carrying 63 tourists got stuck in the Trishuli river. This incident has created a stir in the entire area. On receiving the information of the incident, the relief and rescue team has reached the spot and is carrying out rescue operations. Local people also joined the rescue operation and tried their best to take out the drowned people.
According to the preliminary information of the administration, a total of 63 people including the drivers were travelling in both the buses. The incident is said to have taken place at 3.30 am. According to eyewitnesses and locals, both the buses fell prey to a landslide in the dense darkness at 3.30 am and got stuck in the strong current of the Trishuli river. However, the exact number of people who drowned and died due to the fall of both the buses into the river is not yet known.
According to the information received from the system, the rescue operation is in full swing. Search operations are facing difficulties due to continuous rain. It is worth noting that many people have died due to heavy rains and landslides in Nepal for several days. Landslides have caused huge cracks on highways at many places, blocking road transport.
